Jazzy sound of sax
Dit geweldige trio wordt in de basis gevormd door het erg populaire duo piano + contrabas, uitgebreid met swingende saxofoon. Eigenlijk heeft dit trio alles in zich wat mooie live muziek maakt: de majesteuze contrabas en de dynamiek van piano. En natuurlijk... die zwoele sound. Die geweldige klanken van de saxofoon, die een ruimte mooi kunnen vullen en die al van veraf gehoord worden. Die uitstraling van een saxofonist met dat schitterende instrument. Dit trio heeft het allemaal in zich. Vandaar een gegarandeerd succes als u dit trio op uw feest of event laat optreden.
Compact trio
Heeft u geen ruimte voor een grote jazzband met alle toeters en bellen (letterlijk)? Maar wilt u wel genieten van live jazz op het allerhoogste niveau én met die onweerstaanbare sound van saxofoon? Dan is dit compacte jazztrio een fantastische keus. Het trio neemt weinig ruimte in. Reken op ongeveer 2 bij 3 meter. Voldoende om een akoestische of elektronische piano te plaatsen, samen met een contrabas. En een saxofonist neemt doorgaans niet veel meer ruimte dan één vierkante meter.

Faqs
Can you perform outside?
Absolutely! There is nothing better than a great jazz band at your garden party or wedding reception. Business receptions are also often held outdoors in the summer. We are happy to perform outdoors. It is important that we are sheltered from the sun and wind, and that the temperature is pleasant – preferably around 20 degrees.
Is a stage necessary?
A stage is not strictly necessary. For larger groups (more than 100 people) we recommend providing a small elevation. This way the musicians are more visible to the audience. After all, a jazz band contributes not only musically, but also visually to the atmosphere of the event - so it is nice if we are clearly visible.
What is a typical playing time?
We are usually hired for a performance of 2 to 4 hours. The ideal playing time depends partly on the samenstelling of the band. As a rule of thumb, you can assume that the number of musicians is at least approximately equal to the number of hours of music needed. For a performance of about three hours, a trio for example, an excellent choice. Do you need music for a short moment, for example a performance of only an hour? Then a smaller one is often sufficient bezetting, like a duo. If music is really needed for a long time, for example six hours, then it is also very nice to have a combinatie of a live band for a few hours, followed by our vinyl DJ. Of course Kars would like advice you on what fits your occasion best!
What is your dress code?
To stay completely in the spirit of jazz, we always perform in stylish black suits with white shirts, complemented by a black tie or bow tie. It’s a subtle nod to the elegant 1950s – the era when jazz developed its iconic look. Even if you and your guests opt for a more casual dress code, our classic attire adds a touch of class to your event. After all, the musicians play a special role and deserve to stand out just a little. Of course, we’re happy to adapt our dress code to match your preferences – whether formal, festive, or relaxed.
Where are you from?
The professional musicians of de Jazz Centrale We live throughout the country, allowing us to be flexible throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, and beyond. We can also perform in North Rhine-Westphalia, Luxembourg, and northern France. Travel costs remain relatively low and have only a minor impact on the rate. After all, musicians are used to traveling. This way, you can enjoy top-quality live jazz music, wherever you are!
