This jazz trio consists of the most beautiful instruments of jazz: the wonderful piano, the majestic double bass and the rhythmic jazz guitar. Together they form a jazztrio with a beautiful full timbre, rhythmic swing and a cheerful repertoire.
Cheerful swinging repertoire
Of het nu gaat om een chique zakelijk evenement, een klein feestje thuis of een sfeervolle borrel op uw bruiloft, overal kan deze compacte bezetting ingezet worden en een ultieme sfeer van jazz creëeren.
Het repertoire van dit heerlijke jazz trio bestaat uit de swingende zoals u die kent van Oscar Peterson, Teddy Wilson, Errol Garner en vele anderen uit de jaren '30, 40 en '50. Het zijn altijd vrolijke liedjes, veelal uptempo en met een knipoog naar de populaire hot club de france — dat komt natuurlijk door de karakteristieke rol van de (slag)gitaar.
Vooral het klassiekere swingrepertoire komt dankzij de ritmische begeleiding van de jazzgitaar zeer goed tot zijn recht, maar tevens laveren de musici moeiteloos tussen de latere bossa nova, cool jazz en moderne smooth jazz.

Dit jazz trio is voor vele situaties inzetbaar omdat het volume zowel omhoog als omlaag uitstekend is aan te passen. Dat komt omdat alle instrumenten aan een versterker verbonden zijn, maar die kan uiteraard ook op heel laag niveau worden gezet.
Compact size
Dit jazztrio neemt relatief weinig ruimte in en is daarom erg geschikt voor kleinere locaties. Als u dit jazz trio wenst te boeken, dient u ongeveer 2 bij 3 vierkante meter ruimte beschikbaar te hebben. Hiermee is dit jazztrio bij uitstek geschikt voor bijvoorbeeld optredens bij u thuis of kleinschalige diners, waarbij ondanks de bescheiden afmetingen dansen gewenst is.

Faqs
Can you perform outside?
Absolutely! There is nothing better than a great jazz band at your garden party or wedding reception. Business receptions are also often held outdoors in the summer. We are happy to perform outdoors. It is important that we are sheltered from the sun and wind, and that the temperature is pleasant – preferably around 20 degrees.
Is a stage necessary?
A stage is not strictly necessary. For larger groups (more than 100 people) we recommend providing a small elevation. This way the musicians are more visible to the audience. After all, a jazz band contributes not only musically, but also visually to the atmosphere of the event - so it is nice if we are clearly visible.
What is a typical playing time?
We are usually hired for a performance of 2 to 4 hours. The ideal playing time depends partly on the samenstelling of the band. As a rule of thumb, you can assume that the number of musicians is at least approximately equal to the number of hours of music needed. For a performance of about three hours, a trio for example, an excellent choice. Do you need music for a short moment, for example a performance of only an hour? Then a smaller one is often sufficient bezetting, like a duo. If music is really needed for a long time, for example six hours, then it is also very nice to have a combinatie of a live band for a few hours, followed by our vinyl DJ. Of course Kars would like advice you on what fits your occasion best!
What is your dress code?
To stay completely in the spirit of jazz, we always perform in stylish black suits with white shirts, complemented by a black tie or bow tie. It’s a subtle nod to the elegant 1950s – the era when jazz developed its iconic look. Even if you and your guests opt for a more casual dress code, our classic attire adds a touch of class to your event. After all, the musicians play a special role and deserve to stand out just a little. Of course, we’re happy to adapt our dress code to match your preferences – whether formal, festive, or relaxed.

The professional musicians of de Jazz Centrale We live throughout the country, allowing us to be flexible throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, and beyond. We can also perform in North Rhine-Westphalia, Luxembourg, and northern France. Travel costs remain relatively low and have only a minor impact on the rate. After all, musicians are used to traveling. This way, you can enjoy top-quality live jazz music, wherever you are!
