Absolutely! There is nothing better than a great jazz band at your garden party or wedding reception. Business receptions are also often held outdoors in the summer. We are happy to perform outdoors. It is important that we are sheltered from the sun and wind, and that the temperature is pleasant – preferably around 20 degrees.

A stage is not strictly necessary. For larger groups (more than 100 people) we recommend providing a small elevation. This way the musicians are more visible to the audience. After all, a jazz band contributes not only musically, but also visually to the atmosphere of the event - so it is nice if we are clearly visible.

We are usually hired for a performance of 2 to 4 hours. The ideal playing time depends partly on the line-up of the band. As a rule of thumb, you can assume that the number of musicians is at least approximately equal to the number of hours of music needed. For a performance of about three hours, a trio for example, an excellent choice. Do you need music for a short moment, for example a performance of only an hour? Then a smaller one is often sufficient line-up, like a duo. If music is really needed for a long time, for example six hours, then it is also very nice to have a line-up of a live band for a few hours, followed by our vinyl DJ. To stay completely in the spirit of jazz, we always perform in stylish black suits with white shirts, complemented by a black tie or bow tie. It’s a subtle nod to the elegant 1950s – the era when jazz developed its iconic look. Even if you and your guests opt for a more casual dress code, our classic attire adds a touch of class to your event. After all, the musicians play a special role and deserve to stand out just a little. Of course, we’re happy to adapt our dress code to match your preferences – whether formal, festive, or relaxed.

We can also perform in North Rhine-Westphalia, Luxembourg, and northern France. Travel costs remain relatively low and have only a minor impact on the rate.
